"Oh, oh, I wish I had written that"- Kele Bloc Party.
…and exactly what was Kele referring to? ‘Love Is A Number’ the brilliant new Electro Rock anthem from the UK’s White Rose Movement.

To say White Rose Movement is an '80-inspired British band would vastly understate their appeal and power. They are breathing new life into British music, adding attitude, intent and ‘dishing up stylish synth-based melodies that crazy glue fingers to a stereo’s repeat button’ - Spin

White Rose Movement released their debut album ‘Kick’ in 2006 and it ‘definitely suggests that Kele might have to pick his jaw up from the floor again in the not too distant future.’ – Music OMH. Whereas most of the other '80s revivalists recall one band in particular, White Rose Movement has conjoined the sounds of that decade into a unique seriously likeable sound. The cohesion of electronica and guitars has been a recipe for disaster from outfits who just don't know how to get the blend and feel right, but for this quivering quintet it seems to be their sixth sense.

After igniting their homeland, White Rose Movement has begun their migration, touring with Placebo in 2006 and scoring coveted spots on Coachella, Reading, Lowlands and every renowned European festival in existence. Sounding more like the soundtrack to a disco of a generation yet to come, White Rose Movement are now set to finally take on Australia.

Performing 2 very special concerts with Nine Inch Nails, White Rose Movement will also be setting venues alight in Sydney and Melbourne for their own headline shows!
