Megadeth pack guitar legend Slash off to driving school and announce 2nd & final Sydney show | More News Items...

The top hat wearing Velvet Revolver guitar hero and Guns & Roses founder Slash approached Megadeth’s bass player James Lomenzo at a Portland hotel lobby last week and blamed Megadeth for his driving woes.  “I love the new album (United Abominations) so much that every time I drive I've got it crankin' in my car... I've gotten two speeding tickets thanks to you jerks and now I've got to go to fucking traffic school!” A nervous Lomenzo duly apologised for the inconvenience caused but stopped short of promising the band’s next album will not be as amazing as this one!

In other great but not-quite-as-amusing Megadeth news, the band have announced a 2nd and final Sydney show on Friday November 16 at Big Top, Luna Park. The show will be Licensed All Ages and Megadeth will once again be ably supported by the all-star Gigantour line-up of Static X, Devildriver, Lacuna Coil and Bring Me The Horizon. The band’s Perth and Adelaide shows are also expected to sell out within days.

Lomenzo will narrowly avoid crossing paths with Slash who will roll into town a couple of weeks later with supergroup Velvet Revolver.
