FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN SUPPORTS! | More News Items...

Normally you have to spend $1000 to get a free $5 discount voucher these days, or accumulate 100,000 frequent flyer points over a decade to get a free one way trip to Wollongong…so Funeral For A Friend have decided that you have to pay nothing extra to get added love on their tour!

So with that in mind New York City favorites Bayside and rising stars Dopamine join this amazing triple bill.

On a brittle Halloween morning in 2005, Bayside’s tour van, after leaving a show, crashed after hitting some ice on the road causing the van to flip over. Regretfully the accident caused serious injury to bass player Nick Ghanbarian and the unimaginable death of their drummer John “Beatz” Holohan.

Bayside are shaking their haunting past and have placed their acoustic guitars back in the rack. 2007 sees the band deliver their finest moment, The Walking Wounded, the most highly anticipated album of 2007 according to Alternative Press. This album was not created to mourn the loss of a friend but rather to celebrate and rise above and ‘delivers a collection of heartbreaking yet inspiring anthems’ – Interpunk.com

If you have ever felt lost and needed a reminder that passion can be found anywhere in life, then Bayside have crafted a painfully beautiful masterpiece to accompany your journey.

Caerphilly, South Wales, a town, a castle and its cheese…now has something else to brag about!

Enter Dopamine, ‘a commercially viable clash of contagious choruses, gargantuan hooks, accessible vocals and heart winning harmonies’ – Metal Hammer.

Tours with Underoath, Silverstein and The Hurt Process, have seen Dopamine develop their own unique style, mixing infectious melodies with crunching guitars, they have rightfully gained a large following. ‘This quartet crackle with that special something that separates gifted song writers from second-rate plagiarists’ - Kerrang

Those lucky enough to have held a ticket to FFAF’s totally sold-out tour of Australia in 2005 would have walked past the heart-wrenching procession of tearful and ticket less fans gathered at each stop on the tour… Needless to say, early acquisition of tickets is advised!
